Originally from West Pittston, Pennsylvania, and residing in Swoyersville, Bob was widely known as the hard-working owner of Uncle Bobby’s Garage LLC. Beyond the shop, he was a giant in the regional music scene, captivating crowds for over a quarter of a century with his powerhouse vocals, effortless stage presence, and unwavering generosity.
A Voice That Rocked Northeastern Pennsylvania
For over 26 years, Bob served as the iconic lead singer for 3rd Degree, one of the longest-running and most popular rock bands in NEPA. Known for a phenomenal vocal range that could handle virtually any song thrown at him, Bob brought electric energy to every venue he played.
Beyond 3rd Degree, Bob left an indelible mark across multiple musical projects:

Tribute Frontman: He earned widespread acclaim for his thunderous performances as the lead vocalist of the Meat Loaf tribute band Bat Out of Hell, as well as fronting Cool Ride and other popular regional acts.

Following his passing, his son, Bobby White, confirmed that his father went quietly and peacefully at home. In a touching tribute, Bobby pledged to carry on his father’s hard work and keep Uncle Bobby’s Garage open in his memory, honoring his dad’s lasting legacy of service to the community.
