Israel first discovered his passion for functional fitness while serving overseas in the military. Inspired by seeing fellow service members training during deployment, he jumped headfirst into intense physical conditioning, earning coaching certifications with USA Powerlifting, USA Olympic Weightlifting, and CrossFit.

Upon returning home to Upstate New York, Israel channeled his discipline into building a thriving fitness community in the Adirondack region:

• Flex Appeal to ADK CrossFit: After managing Flex Appeal in Lake George, Israel launched ADK CrossFit in late 2012, growing it into the largest functional fitness facility in the area.

• Downtown Glens Falls Expansion: Israel expanded his vision by opening ADK Fit at 80 Glen Street—a state-of-the-art, 24-hour facility designed to serve people of all fitness levels across Glens Falls and Queensbury.

• Mentorship for Local Athletes: Dedicated to elevating local sports, Israel served as the strength and conditioning coach for the Glens Falls High School football and basketball teams, as well as the Adirondack Rivermen hockey team.
