Michael Bradley “Mike” Poole, a dedicated former active volunteer firefighter, skilled craftsman, loyal friend, and lifelong resident of Middletown, Maryland, passed away surrounded by love on Sunday, July 19, 2026, following a brave battle with cancer. He was just 32 years old.
Known for his infectious sense of humor, tireless work ethic, and selfless willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need, Mike’s unexpected passing at such a young age leaves a profound void across the entire Frederick County community.
Over a Decade of Dedicated Service: Middletown Volunteer Fire Company
Mike proudly served his hometown as a past active member of the Middletown Volunteer Fire Company (Company 7) from 2012 to 2023. For over eleven years, Mike responded to countless emergency calls, protecting lives and property across the Valley.
